my training philosophy

Objects in motion tend to stay in motion. When you lose your momentum, it can be difficult to get back into the swing of a fitness routine. I'm here to help you design and implement an active lifestyle that will work for you now and in the future. Together, we'll get you moving towards a more vibrant, energized and passionate you. My job as your personal trainer is to help you train your mind and your body to “get over the hump” of your exercise routine (or lack thereof) and begin to look at fitness as a way of life. As a mother of four, I understand that life gets busy! It's ok to ask for help, and make your health and fitness your top priority.

By focusing on your core, we are able to work all of the muscle groups simultaneously. A core-informed routine is the most effective, time efficient way to strength train.

TRX, Gliders, Bosu and your own body weight are my favorite pieces of equipment. We’ll also use the core ball, free weights, Pilates ring, body bar, foam roller, bands and more!

No matter what your age, there are endless benefits to be reaped from strength training and from sticking to a consistent cardio routine. It’s never too late to let exercise become part of your daily life. Releasing endorphins is one of the fastest, most effective ways to a happier and healthier you. You'll begin to crave the after-glow of a good sweat, and that's how a habit becomes a lifestyle!
